I thought so too at first then I listened to Tommy’s take on this.
She married a black man and adopted black children. Works for the NAACP and has really tried to help black people. As strange as it sounds, I’d say she really wants to be a black woman. She identifies as a black woman.
It’s not like she just went to school on scholarship and then quit “being black” after she got the education, she really is walking the walk.
I will grant you that point. But she still committed fraud to get every place she went
I admit, and accept, that she may well have done more for “Black” folks than many other “Black” folks....but, she is dishonest, manipulative. A liar. Misrepresentation of who and what you are is a denial of what makes you the human being that you are. One does not have to be White or Black or any other color to believe that it is not the color of ones skin or the ethnic or cultural origin you have that makes you a child of God and a fellow equal human being. Underneath all the skin and apparent physical characteristics that might lend one to determine a person is this or that ethnicity lies the basic blood and bone and sinew that all human beings have. The same innards that make us human beings. Why White and Black and Yellow and Red bigots cannot comprehend the fact that we are 99.99999% the same is beyond me and I am sick to death of the racial pimping from all sides.
Rachel did NOT adopt ANY b lack kids and has one with he ex-husband, whom she claimed beat her.
She went "black" long before she married one black man and was engaged, for all of two months, to another one.
She grew up with four black adopted siblings, went to a black college, creates art in a black style, married a black man, gave birth to a black child, got custody of one of her black siblings, and now works for a black cause.
