Yep
And Laz was right As usual
You keep emotionally investing in character favorites who are the rare moral POV who die
Snow was just really a wonderful inspiring role model character with a heart and my oldest boy is told he looks like him all the time
It’s like the anti climax of the early 70s movie The Cowboys
One I always remembered
This series exemplifies our age of nihilism and ages old morality crushed under the weight of minority grievance and cultural tyranny
I’ll say one thing though
Lena Headey is one exponentially hellacious foxy lady as a 42 year old mom
Even with shorn hair and crap thrown at her
Stunning
Only redeeming thing about last night
In the immortal words of Miracle Max...”He’s only MOSTLY dead...”
When it comes to the homosexuality mess, even "The Walking Dead" now has two queer characters, but I'm invested enough in it that I'll keep watching. Except for one initial scene, it hasn't been too bad. And I suspect at least one of them is destined to be killed off, so that's fine.
I got my husband hooked on "TURN: Washington's Spies". I enjoyed it last season, but we've both loved it this season...it's our second show after "The Walking Dead."
TURN introduced a certain minor character who was eventually outed as a murderer and a queer. He was denounced as a deviant and there was a line about something being "even lower than a sodomite."
Along the same lines, a Continental soldier mocked George Washington for not having any sons and implied he might prefer young men over his wife. For that, he got knocked on his butt by one of the main characters.
Pretty unusual on-screen treatment of homosexuality these days.
"And Laz was right As usual"
He always is. It's like a thing with him...
