Excellent news :D

I really can’t wait!

A lot of people seem immensely troubled with this season, and I did think it started off slow.

But it built into a fine, fine finish over the last 3 episodes, with the season finale being just about the best episode I’ve seen yet out of all the season.

I mean, damn, that was good episode!

The only things I really don’t like are the substantial deviations from the books, but there really isn’t much point in dwelling over that stuff, because it’s obvious that a one hour long weekly show would not be able to effectively handle all of the characters and plots in the books.

So I just try to separate in my mind the books and the series as two alternate versions of the universe and characters with some intersections and many differences.

This way I find I am thoroughly able to enjoy both.

I'm not a prude or a pollyanna by any means...I can get into some fairly dark stuff, as long as it isn't openly anti-God/anti-Christian/blasphemous. But GOT sounds a little too depressing for me.

When it comes to the homosexuality mess, even "The Walking Dead" now has two queer characters, but I'm invested enough in it that I'll keep watching. Except for one initial scene, it hasn't been too bad. And I suspect at least one of them is destined to be killed off, so that's fine.

I got my husband hooked on "TURN: Washington's Spies". I enjoyed it last season, but we've both loved it this season...it's our second show after "The Walking Dead."

TURN introduced a certain minor character who was eventually outed as a murderer and a queer. He was denounced as a deviant and there was a line about something being "even lower than a sodomite."

Along the same lines, a Continental soldier mocked George Washington for not having any sons and implied he might prefer young men over his wife. For that, he got knocked on his butt by one of the main characters.

Pretty unusual on-screen treatment of homosexuality these days.

"And Laz was right As usual"

He always is. It's like a thing with him...

Delicious sounding. I had a delish idea too. Always happens in the shower for some reason. Cersei confessed to the loss of Robert’s baby to Kat. Both these women knew Nedd had a bastard, Jon Snow. I would write that Jon Snow was a love child of Nedd and Cersei. Robert asked Nedd once about his lover, can’t remember, think Wylla was her name. A nickname perhaps. Nedd asks Cersei, willya lie with me? and Cersei’s reply, Wylla. Remember Nedd would tell Robert nothing of his love affair with the woman. I doubt even Cersei could kill one of her offspring but she might spirit it away as a bastard of Nedd Stark so her incestuous children with her brother may inherit the iron throne.

>>Immediately after last nights episode he was interviewed saying he’s done<<

Well of course he said that, it would destroy the entire cliffhanger nature of the closing scene if he said otherwise.

“Yeah, I know people are upset that my character was killed, but don’t worry, I’m going to be filming Season 6 in a few months!”

No such thing as “too gruesome” for killing pedophiles.

When Ned confronts Cersei in the Godswood of Kings Landing in the first book...there’s only one mention of the child she had outside of her relationship with Jaime. She admitted to aborting it.

martin, I've googled 'cersei walk of shame' but am not coming up with any good photos.

Highlight of the show, imo.

Two libtard Hollywood Jewish meterosexuals ..,.i mean have u seen them interviewed ...have taken this saga which is admittedly a different saga and made it a never ending amoral kill the hero saga which exemplifies the age we sadly endure.

Same thing two libtards did to Battlestar Galactica.

Well in season one episode three or four Cersei tells Kat sitting at Bran’s bedside that she had Robert’s son and it died of fever. Little bird with no feathers is how she described it. Did not abort that one. She said it died, was taken away and she never even visited the crypt. Cersei thinks much of her blood doubt she would destroy her own kind, she might send it away and hide it. Have not read the books. And Cersei is a first class liar and manipulator. Poor Nedd is too honorable for his own good but still a man and Cersei is very beautiful.

Yes, she aborted the only child that was Robert Baratheon’s. What does that have to do with Jon Snow?

That was my substitute gif for Rhaegal burning Quentyn, since alas no such scene was made for the series, but maybe I shoulda gone with the above pic instead, since it is a bit more accurate.

I also loved the scene with Drogon and Dany up on the hill. Drogon was so cute liking his wounds. He reminded me of German Shepherd, only much less powerful than my German Shepherd obviously.

I just wanted to run up and hug and pet Drogon. So adorable!

And I thought it was hilarious when Dany was all we have to go back, take me back, Drogon, and Drogon just completely ignored her and went to sleep.

Good black dragon! :D

The books are full of “unreliable narrators”. Cersei in particular is a liar, and you can’t trust what she says.
