The UN is and always was a debating society. Their conclusions may not have the force of law, but it may “strongly suggest” that some course of action is taken. If the suggestions are not followed with an infusion of cash, then not much of anything gets done.

World Government is still a very distant reality, and not likely to come with the world divided into many camps. The Lion does not lie down with the Lamb, not until a good solid wallop right between the eyes is delivered by a just and righteous entity.

Trouble is, it is the Lamb and not the Lion who has been getting the whack between the eyes.
