Twitter Reacts to How a NAACP Leader Bamboozled, Hoodwinked and Led People Astray About Her Race
#RachelDolezal is the most talked-about story on Twitter today, prompting funny and thoughtful responses from blacks, whites, liberals and conservatives about race and identity.
The devil is a lie. Rachel Dolezal, a part-time college professor of Africana studies, got a tan and a perm to curl her naturally straight blond hair, married a black man, allegedly took her adopted black brother under her wing as her own child, and has seemingly been passing as black for years.

Twitter reactions have been pouring in by the thousands, with responses ranging from hilarious quips to insightful comments about how Dolezal's "passing" sheds light on underdiscussed issues like minority privilege, appropriation and the fetishization of black culture.

To ease the criticism she needs to come out as a transgendered and transracial homosexual black man.
Exactly.
If we countenance this, next thing you know, people will be getting hired by claiming to be 1/32 Cherokee.
Oh, wait.
Others have claimed he is Indonesian. But he has nappy hair (are we still allowed to say, "nappy"?).
Indonesians and Arabs have dark (black) hair, but Indonesian hair is straight and some Arabs have wavy hair.
Only black Africans have nappy (Are we still allowed to say, "nappy"?) hair.
So, I don't think Zero is anything other than half-Caucasian and half-Kenyan.
But she is so courageous! LOL
Remember Jerry. It’s only a lie if YOU think it’s a lie.
I am not big on the skin/hair focus. But then again, Islam turns ones brains to mush.
So, let’s discover what the Arabs, back in the day, said about themselves

Ibn Berry, the well-known Arab grammarian of the 12th century AD, explains Al Fadl ibn Al Abbas’s words by saying, “...He means by this that his genealogy is pure and that he is a pure Arab because the Arabs describe their color as black and they describe the color of the non-Arab Persians as red”. Ibn Mandour further describes the pure Arabs by saying, “Lank hair is the kind of hair that most non-Arab Persians and Romans have while kinky hair is the kind of hair that most Arabs have”. Click below for original in Arabic.
There you have it—testimony from the original Arabs themselves. They have told us that the pure Arabs are black-skinned with kinky hair. They have proven beyond a shadow of doubt that the true appearance of the pure Arabs is entirely different from what people today think that a pure Arab looks like. Does it make any sense to disregard what the original, pure Arabs said about the appearance of the pure Arabs?
