Woth the exception of Tyrion, the Lannisters are in freefall with Tywin.

According to the books, Greyscale is fatal. Princess Shireen was goner and Stannis cut her suffering to a minimum.

As I understood it greyscale was only fatal to adults.

A child could survive greyscale.

One does not cut another’s suffering to a minimum by burning them at the stake.
