“There are way more than that in NYC.”
Sure. The “300” number would be normalized over the entire country. Obviously, they self-concentrate in Gomorrah.
Here’s a potential cure you can try at your own risk...

I live in Gomorrah!?
Can’t wait until I tell all of my friends!
To the rest of the USA, yes you do live in Gomorrah.
I’ve been to NYC for a number of IPOs and road shows and staying in what are supposed to be the best hotels in NYC and best restaurants.
Manhattan really has bad feng shui. Bad karma. Something ephemerally rotten to the core.
Enjoyed ringing the bell the first time, the Met, and looking at the Statue of Liberty from Goldman’s big board room. Also liked a little pub down in an abandoned subway depot that had great jazz.
Otherwise, the best part of the trip is going back through the tunnel to that little airport in NJ and walking up the stairs to the jet.
Make the bankers come to me now. I’ll stick with standing on my deck and looking at the mountains as I survey whatever the bears did in the yard during the night.
Happy to be living in NYC.
Have been to all of the states besides Alaska. Some on business and some for pleasure.
While some parts are beautiful, personally I would be bored stiff in most other spots.
The Gomorrah part is inane. Have seen low morals everywhere. One thing I particularly like here also, is the frank interactions. Most other places had lots of courteous hello, but a lot of the times it was clearly for show.
I understand that a lot of you don’t like NYC, even those that have never been here, but as long as I love it here I am happy to live here.
