Bush Jr. should have listened to his father Bush Sr. who called his son at the White House before the invasion of Iraq in March 2003. Bush Sr. didn’t favor taking out Saddam in the process. Saddam was the one man who could keep the tribes in check. The younger Bush hung up on his father.

On the other hand, before the Iraq war I often heard it claimed that Iraq was basically a modern, secular society trapped in an Islamic body, and that it was not a society primarily motivated by religious passion.

There is no such person as Bush Jr. The only junior in any political family is Albert Gore Jr.
I really get sick when people use this term and phrase.
