As a single dad, I had to bail out of any involvement with my daughter’s troop beyond being a “cookie mom.” The rules were legion for a participating male and, while there’d be no trouble complying, it would put too much stress on the situation and detract from the girls’ experience. Who knew all I had to do was declare transgenderness.

Get her into the Indian Guides, though I think they renamed them to be Adventure Guides now PC nonsense you know, its a father daughter organization run by the YMCA.

You might be a little less of the odd man out so to speak, and its focus is to build strong relationships between fathers and daughters.

Even better is American Heritage Girls (not to be confused with American Girl dolls). It is a scouting program that is based on Christianity-no PC pandering anywhere. My girls were in it the first year we had a troop, and it was much better than my Girl Scout days. We quit only because we had to pull back on activities and my oldest is a committed ballerina, dance won out.
