Whether or not you think this is ridiculous. The devil is always in the details. The details in Barry's history are all screwed up. Either the job was done by a government employee who really didn't care or it was a do-it-yourself type of thing from one of Barry's pot smoking pals.
One other anomaly my wife and I noticed... If you are able to find various photos supposedly taken on Barry and Michele's wedding day... she is pictured literally wearing several different formal dresses, along with various other goofy anomalies similar to those shown here. It is literally a "where is Waldo game" every time an old photo of the two of them is released.
Honestly, this looks more like the work of those responsible for painting out people after the Soviet purges than the work of a skilled person using Photoshop. Is it going to make any difference at this point? Probably not, but one day if the country is able to recover from the damage that has been done... people will look back and wonder how we could have been such a bunch of gullible fools.
I can't speak for the details on the dress, but she has a long bluish veil that makes the dress look blue in some pictures. In others, and in the black and white photos, the dress looks white. You might think their different dresses, but they may not be.
A lot of the conspiracy theories are far-fetched. Forty year old snap-shots that weren't very high quality to begin with aren't going to have the clarity and resolution of today's digital prints. One problem with the theories is that people are demanding a degree of clarity and precision that just wasn't available then.
What made me skeptical was all the people complaining that the typewritten lines in the supposed birth certificate weren't as clear as what we're used to. Of course they aren't. Don't people remember what the old manual typewriters were like? It's the reverse of the situation with the Dan Rather documents, which were proven fake because they were too clear and precise for the technology of the time.
