If I were on the BPD force, I would be looking for any dept that is hiring and apply immideatly. In the mean time, I would on,y respond to calls from fellow officers or the ddjspatcher and ignore everything else. Mint worth it anymore. The mayor has thrown her dept under the bus.

If they control the local police force, then they can make state and local governments effectively irrelevant, using the same kind of "prosecutorial discretion" they've used to make Congress irrelevant WRT immigration laws. They'll simply instruct the local police force to ignore violations of any start or local laws the administration doesn't agree with.

That will include election laws.
