>>It took over a year and a half but I found a job that paid 1/3 as much and that I liked 3 times as much. <<

Sometimes I really wish I could chuck it all and just be a developer (my true love).

But 35 years of experience in IT in many roles, including Director of Operations, pretty much ensures I can only do development I assign myself (which I always do) as part of the project.

And that development is the only time on the project I truly enjoy myself.

>>As a side insult, I work in IT and ALL the H1B’s and Indian green carders that I know personally voted for Obastard, twice.<<

You should have turned them in!

Election polling for Asian Indian-American citizens is quite shocking if you are not familiar with it.

In 2008, all polls had them at 90% or higher for Obama.

In 2012, they were in the 80%-90% range for Obama.

They are the best educated ethnic group in America, although it's not clear how many have degrees from Asian Indian universities, which are often not accredited by USA corporations.

Just read an article today, I think from Drudge, that states legal Asian Indian immigrants and legal Mexican immigrants were tied at about 125,000 each in 2013.

Legal Chinese immigrants were number one in 2013, about 135,000, if I recall correctly.

It is interesting to me that the Conservatives in the UK won in large part by promising to hold a referendum on whether or not to exit from the European Union. Yet on Fox everything BUT this is being credited for the win. Plain and simple fact is, most people don’t want to be economically sold down the river.

Years ago when the major garment mills sent manufacturing offshore (NAFTA) there was apparent disregard for QC, with a high rate of defectives. Not anymore.

The reality is even harsher - the quality work is done offshore, now. Domestic garments, on average, are dramatically inferior. There is some quality available from Canada, but very little from US suppliers.

I expect this trend to continue across all industries.

Huge bump to this article.

America we need to build America back up. We need to bring back jobs right here, and stop selling off everything.

I’m completely serious.

Election polling for Asian Indian-American citizens is quite shocking if you are not familiar with it.

Because they really do believe (thanks to relentless Democrat propaganda and Republicans' own stupidity) that:

1) Outside of major cities, the US is populated with white, racist rednecks who want to kill them.

2) Republicans want them all deported, regardless of their legal status.

Oh there’s quality stuff made in the USA, and some of my accounts insist on it. There’s a few small eastern state mills that are still manned by ‘english speaking’ union folk, but most of the made in the USA labels mean sewn in the USA by illegal labor union or not.

Re: “Republicans’ own stupidity”

Please bring me up to date on that stupidity.

With avid Republican assistance:

Asian Indians acquire or renew more USA work visas each year than any other ethnic group in the world.

In 2014, India was in a virtual three way tie for first place with China and Mexico for legal immigration to the USA - about 150,000 per year.

Re: “Outside of major cities, the US is populated with white, racist rednecks who want to kill them.”

Like the racist redneck homicidal Asian Indian Republican Governor of Louisiana?

Like the racist redneck homicidal Asian Indian Republican Governor of South Carolina?
