I saw them in New Haven at the coliseum - bigger venue, but they had a section of the sage that was shaped like a T so they could come out among the crowd. It was amazing how many people they allowed to come up on stage.
Yeah, I'm sure it added to the energy -- and their concerts always had an amazing amount of energy. I liked them better before they went more mainstream when Peter Wolf influenced their play list to more blues. What a set of pipes he had, and he was quite the showman. Loved Magic Dick as well.
Wolf was married to Faye Dunaway back then. Loved her, too.
