I still don’t get this reasoning. Does this mean that because the government issues divorces, that I’m complicit, and endorsing divorce? Why aren’t we working to end divorce? Particularly if we are interested in protecting children?

Certainly a valid question for any Christian. Enough Gospel verses detail Jesus’ explanation that the pro-divorce verses in the Torah were composed by Moses due to the hardness of the Israelites’ hearts on the subject—and even in the face of Korah’s punishment, the illness from the quails and the “fiery serpent” plague among other things, they still were unrepentant on many things.
Divorce has been a colossal attack on the family, with so many nominal Christians helping the Marxist agenda here.

Don't you realize that if a marriage predicated on sodomy is legal, it cements in homosexuals a "protected class"? (It has already happened.)
Don't you realize that if homosexuals are a "protected class," it is ILLEGAL to do or say anything that might offend or exclude them -- that is, anything that is less than celebratory of their sexual proclivities?
ILLEGAL to sell goods or services related to weddings, carry on any kind of matrimonial ministry, do counseling related to marriage, educate kids about sex and decency, unless you positively portray and promote sodomy and lesbianism as the equivalent of true marriage?
- Dating services FORCED to cater to gay preferences (already happened)
- Christian wedding reception venues FORCED to cater to homosexual celebrations (already happened.)
- Licensed marriage counselors, family therapists, even religious chaplaincies FORCED to affirm man/man and woman/woman sexual liaisons (already happened).
- Church-launched Marriage Enrichment programs FORCED to celebrate sexual perversion (already happened).
- Fifth graders FORCED to be groomed on the "best" way to do oral sex --with a dental dam --- and the "best" way to do anal penetration ---with a lube and condom (already happened).
- Early childhood educators (teaches from Pre-K to middle school) FORCED to train kids to regard homosexual liaisons as just as great as a family with a mom and dad. (Even in Mama-Bear-and-Papa-Bear stories, now it's Two Papa Bears. "Heather Has Two Mommies." "My Princes Boy." "Gloria Goes to Gay Pride". Already happened.)
- The legal system FORCED to treat little children (e.g. in marriage and family law, custody, foster placement, etc) as if they have no need for, no right to, and no legitimate interest in having a father and a mother. (Already happened.)
- Christian adoption and foster care services FORCED to provide lesbians and gay males with access to little children, or lose their licenses and be shut down by law. (in MA, IL and CA, already happened.)
- Even in the midst of an epidemic causing tens of millions of deaths, vectored by anal penetration, it is ILLEGAL for health care professionals to advocate --- let alone campaign for --- abstinence from anal penetration. (Already happened, Sweet Jesus, 45 years ago, and still ongoing.)
