You were wrong when you stood on Bourbon street and proclaimed New Orleans has gotten through Katrina with minor damage.

It was the levies along the Mississippi River that failed and flooded NO and the surrounding area that caused the major damage. The Corps of Engineers had not properly maintained them for decades. Yet Bush was blamed for this too.

I also believe Mayor Nagan (sp) kept FEMA and the NG out of NO for three days (I could be wrong on this part - and sorry if I am). And Bush was blamed for not responding fast enough.
