Much of the North-Northwest parts are the scene of turf war battles between Hispanic and Black gangs now. And it seems the blacks are getting the worst of it.

As a Hoosier, there are places in Indiana I have never been and will never go. There are many places on the north-east side that are dangerous. Downtown Indianapolis is pretty safe. Some of the most beautiful homes in the state are downtown on Old Meridian, but their backyards are practically in the ghetto now. When I was growing up I lived on the west side of Indianapolis. Its unrecognizable now. East side trash just keeps moving west. Makes me want to build a wall before Plainfield is ruined.
