Plumbing problems can be used as the reason for many stores to close down now due to minimum wage and union problems.
I look to that here I Seattle with McDonalds and others with the wage gone up to $15.00.

They could close down to get rid of the...stuff...clogging up the plumbing, and then reopen in a month or two.
With computerized ordering kiosks and self-checkouts in place of that half of the former staff who won't be returning. I wouldn't be surprised if these Wal*Marts reopened with some kind of streamlined checkout procedure.

McDonalds are francise stores owned by individuals...not company owned stores like Walmart.
