I could envision a system where you put it on a conveyor belt and there are SKU readers that will automatically scan it no mater what it’s position and then you just have a sacker. The rest of the transaction is just like the self check outs.
At the wholesale club I go to, you have to stop your cart on the way out and a person looks over your receipt and the cart. One person in that job instead of six or seven cashiers.
