I DO NOT TIP at Chipotle or any other fast food location either. Whether the topic is Hillary or not, this is such a BS article. Makes me (1) less likely to eat at Chipotle and (2) if I did, I’d make a point of not tipping and telling them as much. I HATE THE IDEA THAT EVERYONE THINKS THEY SHOULD BE TIPPED FOR DOING THEIR JOB.
No one follows what us “little people” do. They had to have it planned (release surveillance film to media after the van leaves!) so why not make it look like “good” for Hillary? A $20 would be no big deal but leave a nice impression—the lack of ANY tip (from a gazillionaire politician) leads to discussions like this.
Time for a FAIR MINIMUM TIP!
“I HATE THE IDEA THAT EVERYONE THINKS THEY SHOULD BE TIPPED FOR DOING THEIR JOB.”
I only give tips for good (or excellent) service performed by the waiter or waitress. If it is bad service I leave one penny so that they know that I did not forget to tip and maybe they would learn something from that.
The better the service, the higher the tip.
However, fast food restaurants do not provide ANY SERVICE other than taking your order (after you stand in line) and call your name on the intercom to come and get it.
Consequently, no tip!
If you walk into a fast food joint and see a tip jar you have to remember the contents are shared by all who work there. From the most horrible asshole to the best employee they have. It’s the Socialist way...equal pay for non-equal work.
