I was going to say the same thing.
Israel did something that took down Syrias AD network, including S300s, when they wiped that secret nuke facility off the map.
The last I heard about it (couple years back) people were still trying to figure out how Israel did that.
Syria doesn’t have the most effective, new version of the S-300, and nobody knows what version the Iranians are intended to receive
