Where’d you get the idea He did that? Scott did that, or that’s just how it flew out from the struggle. Slager may have truly believed Scott still had it when fleeing, especially the way the wires went with him. Read/analyze the information in this post.

The video clearly captured officer Slager dropping the taser alongside the body after the shooting. Regardless of what happened beforehand, that's planting evidence... and I'm pretty sure planting evidence is illegal:
