Why? Because some college kid says so? Is this what the focus on self-esteem in K-12 schools has brought us to?
He writes that some people have pressure in the chest after a microaggression.
I think that feeling is called "jealousy" and "envy." In college, you're supposed to feel small and unaccomplished as you learn of all the Great Works that came before you.
Then, when you graduate, you are motivated with the new knowledge to go forth and succeed.
But you don't begin your college career with the idea that you are the center of the universe and everyone else must cater to your perceived slights.
