I was standing there...the counter girl looked at me..as she was talking to two people there at the counter. They weren't ordering..they were just talking.
I had made my choice...and the server just ignored me. Enough time had elapsed...to where she should have asked me...something. She didn't....I stood there another minute or two...finally the friends she was talking to told her to wait on me.
She was short with me, attitude...but not overtly. They were all black...and I am white.
I didn't write the local paper, nor did I complain to Corporate PopEyes's. Just will never go back there.
The black "teacher" ought to get a damn grip!! And somehow....I think his story is not all true.

When I go on road trips with the family, and we pull off the highway for a food stop, I often go in first to check out the place. If it's got predominantly black staff and customers, I turn around, get in the car, and go down the highway a bit further.
