I know there are some Trekkies out there and thought some of you might find this interesting. From the site:
"STAR TREK CONTINUES is a critically-acclaimed, award-winning, fan-produced webseries the brainchild of long-time Star Trek: The Original Series fan and producer, director, actor, voice-actor, musician Vic Mignogna.
STAR TREK CONTINUES is proud to be part of Trek history, aimed at completing the final two years of the original five-year mission. After mounting a successful Kickstarter campaign, the show is already making waves and attracting guest stars such as Michael Forest, Colin Baker, Jamie Bamber, Lou Ferrigno, and Erin Gray as well as cameos by Star Trek alums like Marina Sirtis and Michael Dorn."
Anytime, mate. :)
Dunno if you’re a Trekkie, but even if not you might know a few who are that might enjoy this. Don’t think it’s worthy of a Tech Ping, technically, but how about a Trek Ping?
It’s way of saying:
“I’m a stone-faced actor who needs to convince you that my emotions are so deep I can hardly speak.”
Ping! Does this interest you? :)
Ehrmmm... I believe those were “Photon” Torpedos. I could be wrong.
I always had a slight hearing problem. Why a H sounds like a R in some cases baffles me.
Eh. No worries. Some people think “Washington” has an “R” in it. They pronounce it as “Worshntn”. Pronounce a car actually is a “cah”. :)
Yeap. That’s me! Gee, I wish I were perfect.
Starship Exeter is really faithful to TOS. Costumes, music, sets, are dead on.
The final episode, The Transsauruan Intersection, is IMHO better than some of the original ones.
*grin* I as well. I am constantly humming and sometimes quietly singing “Oh Lord, it’s hard to be humble” when alone working on a project. :p
Well, that’s at least two votes so far for that webseries so I should probably set some time aside and look at it, right after I finish looking at some episodes of “House of Cards”.
I’ve watched a few of these on YT, and do appreciate the spirit. I was genuinely entertained, and not in any ironic sort of way.
Bump! :)
