Poll on right hand side
Poll I saw was on someone named Angelina.
Not the polls questions change each time you answer one
I see no poll anywhere.
Doesn’t matter what the truth is now, the MSNBC/DailyKos-driven hysteria has taken over, and Pence is playing right into it.
He should have kept his mouth shut, and just said, “Talk to the legislature”.
That’s odd....I didn’t think that was how the bill is worded. Funny how they can make it seem to say something that it doesn’t contain.
I used to signs posted in just about every business I frequented: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
Has this changed?
OK there is a poll but it’s about the flaky actress
Now it’s about Angelina Jolie???
The poll is worded in such a biased way it’s is pathetic though I did vote , after a load of flaky other questions.
you have to answer a bunch of flaky stupid questions first and how this poll is worded is so biased I have just sent a note to the rag telling them as such and to stop pushing their homosexual left wing agenda
“The Governor of Indiana supports a bill that will give business owners the freedom to turn away LGBT customers.”
The question’s premise is a lie.
Anyone, even celibates would be turned away for trying to buy the product used as an example. No one would be turned away for buying another product, one that the business offered.
Similarly, a customer looking to buy pork at a kosher or halal butcher shop would be turned away, but not of they were buying a meat product the shop offers.
Is that violating the Civil Rights of pork eaters?
The civil Rights act in the 1960s.
No poll at site.
Red herring poll. They will not reject such customers. There is a specific instance in which they want to be allowed to exercise religious freedom -— not making a gay wedding cake. Could an argument be made that such is unfair? Perhaps, if the next closest bakery is 100 miles away. But in virtually any location in this country, the next bakery is within minutes by car.
No, I do not. What’s next...denying someone service because you don’t like their politics?....
Oh wait that what the boycotter are doing..
The boycotter say hey say they will not provide services to Indiana because they do not like something about Indiana and its people...... so how come it ok to deny service to Indiana but not the other way around?...sounds very very hypocritical to me
The Indiana brouhaha? More the LGBT “Hands up dont shoot” than anything else.
Well its got legs because Pence was asked 3X by George Stephanopolus on ABC Sunday if it does allows a flowerist to discriminate against gay couples, and he refused to answer,\
He must think it does,
Poll is worded to make people who agree with religious freedom look bad.
It should read:
“Do you support the Indiana bill allowing business owner to reject business orders that violate their religious beliefs.”
A bakery isn’t going to reject a customer, they are going to reject a job that requires them to make a product that is decorated in a manner contrary to their religious beliefs. There is a very big difference.
I sell logo-ed promotional products. Every one of the mfg that I rep has a disclaimer that they reserve the right to reject any imprint that they deem inappropriate for their product. That is not a refusal to do business with anyone. It is a refusal to be told what to say.
