This article seems to care more for Roman Catholics than for all Christians.

Yes, with you Latins’ ecclesiology, if the Pope goes in for Gaia worshipping nonsense you’ve got a problem. I pray for your sake he doesn’t. Our Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholemew I (known in some quarters of the Orthodox Church as “Black Bart”) has already gone in for this nonsense. Fortunately, we have millenia of practice as ignoring and, if necessary, resisting heretical patriarchs, and we just ignore him.

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls the climates of all its planets.

3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

My $.02. Cardinal Bergoglio is NOT the Pope. Benedict XVI is the Pope and will remain the Pope so long as he's got a pulse. God decides who's Pope and who's not. The College of Cardinals is merely the instrument the Holy Spirit uses to express His Holy Will on the issue. But no Pope, once invested, nor any other human being of human institution, has any right whatsoever to appoint another man Pope while the current Pope is still alive. After all, the Pope is symbolically father. A man might retire from his working career, but he can never retire from being a father to his children - at least not until he's dead.

I dearly love Pope Benedict XVI. I just wish that he had followed the great example of the St. John Paul II who stayed on even in his dotage. He understood that he was our earthly spiritual father to the end of his life and that we needed him as a focal point of our earthly, filial devotion as Christians even when he couldn't speak.

Cardinal Bergoglio is not the Pope, IMHO. His questionable actions would seem to lend itself to that interpretation.

Ye of little or no faith and less hope....call yourselves Christian?

The Church against birth control, sex outside of marriage, perverted sex, and abortion....is going to cave on Global Warming?

REALLY?! With a serious face you say that?!

You think the Synod will permit the divorced and civilly remarried receive communion because we made a mistake getting all those priests and Catholics killed by the British after Henry 8th?????! Seriously?

Faith.
Hope.
Charity.

I give you charity.

It is the one holy catholic apostolic church....it alone will not fall... but the gates of hell now, they will not stand against it.
