Before the internet, all this info was in books. There was a whole room at the state genealogical library here full of them. Back then, birth and death certificates with SS# could be researched by anyone by just going to the courthouse. Many times, the county clerk would retype the info from the filed certificate onto a blank form for you because there wasn’t a Xerox machine so if one had a blank form they could type anything they wanted in the spaces and no one would be the wiser.

So Bammy’s grandparents/mother could have figured out what book they needed in order to get a number for him, because we all know he lets other people do most of the heavy lifting.

Try getting the probate record of his great grandfather that lived in Kansas. He was not just a bookkeeper!
Died in October 1968. In December 1971, after the family meeting his oldest daughter, BO grandma (who probably obtained the SS#), was promoted to VP head of the trust-escrow dept of bank, became BO legal guardian and enrolled him in private school Plus they moved into a pent-house
All these dreams of my father just kept people from looking into his very wealthy mother’s family
( BOs schedule E has listed income from the family trust since he’s been in office )
