"In retrospect perhaps it was not a good idea to let a man with a history of severe depression be an airline pilot.
I wonder if there are any regulations concerning that. Depression can make people do weird things (such as flying airplanes into mountains), and it is a difficult problem to treat effectively.

For most people it’s very easy to treat. Cognitive therapy works very well and requires no drugs.
