There's more hydrogen in a gallon of gasoline, one of the safest and most efficient fuels available today, than in a gallon of...hydrogen! The production of hydrogen gas is expensive, dangerous and polluting.

Didn’t know that, thanks. I do know Mr. H is a dangerous fellow. He’s great at making stuff like heat, fuel, explosions(he’s GREAT when it comes to nukes!) water ‘n’ stuff but he IS a tricky fellow. Except for limited uses by us humans(and we make mistakes when we make stuff) Mr. H should be left in the stars where God put him.

Most biomass is, well , Free, and if engineered and handled correctly hydrogen can be produced from steam in a process called Gasification and be burned safely in a ICE engine..
