When Bill Clinton opened an office in Harlem after he left the presidency, I sent an e-mail to talk show host Hugh Hewitt suggesting that he play Cab Calloway's 1932 release, The Man from Harlem, a song about a drug dealer. A few minutes later, I almost fell out of my chair when he played it and then thanked me on the air for suggesting it.
