According to a Friday story in the Texas Tribune, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas has informed the media that he intends to make a major speech at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia on Monday. The announcement has spurred speculation that Cruz intends to either announce his intention to run for president of the United States or, at the very least, form an exploratory committee in advance of doing so. It is an open secret that Cruz, who was elected to the Senate in 2012, is interested in moving up to the Oval Office.

Walker talks about the decision to leave the police and fire out of Act 10. He claims it was for security reasons. Imagine during the demonstrations and chaos going on in the Capitol if the prison guards, police and fire walked off their jobs.
That implies that he expected all the protests and demonstrations that followed. And that his actions against the public employee unions were purely punitive.
I hope so. If not I will have no reason to vote.
I can’t wait! I love listening to Cruz speak!
I don’t think this is to announce he’s running.
No matter which one surfaces to the top, Cruz or Walker, they may decide to honor some agreement that had previously been made with someone no one knows. We, wishing for the two to join ranks, may not get what we want.
You completely are forgetting one thing: It doesn't matter. The press IS going to go full birther. By the time they get done they are going to convince the public that Cruz was born in Russia to Japanese parents. Facts don't matter. They completely refused to even cover any aspect of the Obama birth questions. By contrast as soon as Cruz announces they're going to go 24x7, 365 days a week birther whether or not it's true. The game plan will be to not allow Cruz to get his message out at all.
The one saving grace is that Cruz is smart. Cruz knows they're itching to do this and it's likely he has a plan for it or better yet has already taken care of it behind the scenes.
The republican establishment will attack Ted relentlessly.
Pretty sad we conservatives must battle republicans as well as democrats.
Y’all...send cash donations, he will need them.
