First off, that is a very brave thing to even say here, considering the heavily entrenched group mantra.
Second, I doubt Cruz will get the nomination.
Third, the democrats will make this election center on the economy; namely that the GOP tanked it in 2008, and the dems have made it better.
But they will argue that incomes are under threat because evil big Republican businessmen ship jobs overseas, crush unions, don’t pay taxes, etc.
And I simply don’t see a slate of Republicans who are conversant with the language of growing free market economic principles.
Maybe I am missing somebody.
