Just the Cynical Name “Mother Jones” just seems to me as an attempt to tie the name of their horrible rag to the emotional centers of the reads who consume such dreck. If conservatives named a magazine “Father Smith” there would be no shortage of the epileptic fits the Pro-Regressives would have over the name of it.
“Mother Jones” the magazine is named after a union leader who may or may not have participated in the murder of her enemies.
