Can someone please tell me who would label David Brooks as a conservative? The times I've heard him speak, he sounds like no conservative I've ever heard. First clue that he is not a conservative, is that he writes for the New York Times. Duh. Second, when he's on TV, he's almost always on NBC or MSNBC, not exactly your right-leaning, fair and balanced networks. And three, every time he spouts off, he sounds just like a liberal.

So why is he called a conservative?

David Brooks was on Meet the Press recently and he was kissing Obama’s butt about Obama bringing up the “crusades” and Andrea Mitchell said Obama shouldn’t have done it.
