Walmart is helping with the Balkanization. I was there today. Couldn’t find wonton wrappers so I asked an employee on the floor. It looked like it was her job to answer questions. She pointed me to the “wrapping” paper birthday card area. I repeated again. She looked blankly at me. I said “no, food”. So she pointed me generally to the food area. She wasn’t bilingual. She DIDNT SPEAK ENGLISH AT ALL!

And the guy who checks receipts so you can walk OUT of Walmart, said “gracias” as he handed back my receipt.

I've seen basically the same thing at our local Whole Foods. Workers who speak no English, at all.

I guess we'll be seeing more and more of this....with 0bola's "New Americans" 😔
