The State Departments Marie Harf got herself into trouble yesterday by employing a Bush-era talking point about the inability to win this war by killing the terrorists, adding, before being cut off by an incredulous Chris Matthews, that we need in the medium- and long-term to go after the root causes that lead people to join these groups, whether its lack of opportunity for jobs
The ridicule rolled in swiftly. Harf, defensive and confused, seemed to conclude that she was witnessing an irrational backlash driven by pure partisanship, and took to the Twitters to point out that all she was doing was recycling a point made in the past by men like Mike Mullen and George W. Bush, among others.

If Manny, Moe and Curly ever ran a country, I imagine it would be no different than watching these clowns.
I would say that Jay Carney, Josh Ernest, Jen Psaki (Put a sock in it), and Marie Harf (the Valley Girl with Hemorrhoids, not on Steroids), are not Neil Sheehan’s “Best and Brightest” but more like Jim Kerry/Jeff Daniels as “Dumber and Dumbest”.
I would like to know how Marie Barf has a job as a State Dept. spokesman at age 33. She has nearly zero life experience and no real world experience. Her career consists of being in academia and a stint at the CIA as an analyst that focused on Middle East “leadership” issues. You can tell she is a wacko, feminist by her name. She is married and never took her husband’s name. At least she is not openly a lesbian.
Is this Hanf’s hand description of someone’s Johnson? “Oh, it’s really this big!”
Here is the video from its original source, I hope.
Fortunately, I have been able to locate and post the video which is enabled and available to see. I apologize for any inconvenience.
I expect people to use plain English when they speak. Especially political types when they speak to the public. Harry Truman is a good example of plain speaking.
This spokeswoman used plain English when she talked about jobs and terrorists. She should just live with what she said.
I do give her “credit” though for not using the usual liberal weasel words, “ I misspoke, or I misremembered.”
What do you get when you combine the Obama foreign policy with religious inspiration?
Fifty shades of pray.
Wow, Pam Poovey actually exists and works as a detached talking head at the State Dept.

A new term describing the insult we experience when nuanced intellectuals in government call us too stupid to get their bullcrap.
There would have been concentration camps and Zyklon-B en masse in the States, I fear.
Her professional career is backed only by the scuffs on her knee pads, and stains on her clothing.
From experience there, not all analsts are as good as others, or are as objective as others. Many are politically-motivated. Just like in the military, two kinds of officers. Same thing.
How’d you like to be married to her? She’s defending a losing position to the death. Try and deal with that every day. Mrs. Always Right. Crap on toast.
You’ll enjoy her wedding announcement

Harfenlerner could be a synonym to Harfengruber.
Then of course, the term for if they do it for years, to our faces, and the press assists them - Harfenbama.
