I live in a heavily Democrat region, my family has always voted Democrat. In fact, at one time, I voted Democrat.

I love my family and friends, but when Obama came along, I realized how far apart we were politically. We couldn't agree on anything. So much for Obama being the great unifier.

So in an effort to eliminate shouting matches and strife, we agreed to not talk politics. It was the only way to maintain the loving relationships we always had.

Funny thing is that Obamacare has soured several of my family members who once worshiped Obama. They are realizing that he lied to them, not only about Obamacare, but everything else. When they complain, it's all I can do to not say, “I told you so.”

It hurts me to see you post conspiracy theories on your Facebook timeline, only to have them debunked with a quick Snopes link

Snopes isn't the 'scientific method'. It is a liberal couple's blog gone wild. It aped the scholarly research of Jan Brunvand for the garden variety urban legends content and uses twisted synopsis phrasings to 'debunk' political arguments and information that the authors want to stifle.

For YEARS they hedged that Hillary did not tell a lie with regard to being named after Sir Edmund Hillary. Their last ditch argument was that perhaps it was her mother who had lied to her. Years later the article was updated to include the confession of a Hillary staffer that the whole thing was concocted BS.

Lies by omission are lies. To focus only on the negative aspects of American history is likewise a distortion (see Americans Communists Howard Zinn and others for such bunk as classroom 'texts').

'You' cite "pro-family" as your reasoning for supporting homosexual marriage YET the current Texas case regarding the matter is being waged by two lesbians seeking state recognition so they can obtain a divorce here. Whoops.

3. You use Biblical scriptute to excuse yourself from feeding the hungry.

I use a separation of church and state provision to declare that Obama cannot force me to tithe to HIS theocratic interpretation of Christianity (a faith he has observed but clearly does not accept as his own).

Her retort to the 'war on Christianity' was to bring up someone's dislike of a Hindu led prayer in the US Senate?

5. You claim God speaks to you and tells you to do things. Over and over and over, we see right wing nutjobs in the news saying they’re doing this horrible thing or that horrible thing because God told them to.

I don't know 'you' but I've seen enough liberals who say that abortion is holy and a sacrament.

I've seen enough liberals who want to celebrate homosexuality in churches.

I've seen enough liberals who want to align with Palestinians and demand their church divest from Israel.

I've heard enough bunk from Barack Obama. Axelrod let it slip that Obama's stance against same sex marriage was merely a shuck and jive to the black church going voters, he supported it all along. It wasn't a religious conviction of his as he once claimed.
