My son too is a chump... he just made a $3.5K payment on a higher rate loan. Since graduating in 2013, he has repaid all but $7k in $27K in debt. In the same time he bought a car on credit and has been saving for a house down payment (using the one time $10K 401k exemption).

People who play by the rules are Chumps..... that is the message!
