Shooting a civilian airliner out of the sky is a pretty sensational atrocity.

And Mr. Putin makes a big show of his adherence to Orthodox Christianity.

While I get your point, it isn’t clear to me yet that the Russians have been proven responsible for the downing of that airliner.

I am very distrustful of the propaganda put forth by our present administration, and have read many articles discussing the possibility of USA involvement in fomenting problems in the Ukraine, including the downing of that airliner.

I do not automatically believe everything I read on the internet, of course.

But given the events of the recent past in Libya, Benghazi, Syria, etc, that suggest US lying, distortions, and manipulation, it is hard to accept your black and white indictment of Putin.

Do not think I admire or support Putin’s version, though. The situation is just too complicated to be sure of anything.
