Good. The wife and I will go see it Saturday. My daughters and a lot of friends have already seen it.

I went into enemy territory (Austin, TX) and watched it at the Alamo Draft house while guzzling down burgers and hefeweizen. I loved it!

it was released in December and was announced as an oscar favorite before it’s national release. They were sending out the dvds for review by the guild and academy in November. It’s the movies that are “cold” released later in the month, like in September (after the summer season is over), that are the losers.

Cymanca strategy:

Make a movie so that most of America can cheer for a true hero.

Don’t include any butt banging

There’s no homosexual romps in that movie? How’d it get made in modern Hollywood?

Oh, so it was the Warner Bros strategy that did it?

Great moto for the troops who are so browbeaten by the highest ranking member. Thank you, Mr. Eastwood.

I have three classes with about 90 college juniors and seniors. I asked how many had seen it on the first weekend: about 30%, which is a very high number for this type of movie. I estimate 75% of them will see it soon.

I haven’t seen a movie in a movie theater for over 10 years, but I plan to see this one this weekend.

Just came from seeing it. It`s very gritty with a compelling and moving human story line. That poor guy went thru hell only to be killed back home by a fellow veteran, such a tragic ending.

Me too, the last two films I saw in the theater were Passion of Christ and the new version of True Grit. Go see American Sniper, it is fantastic!

“Wonder what the total for Muslims was”

That’s easy. Minus 255 terrorists.

A powerfill movie.
Clint and the movie editors did a great job.

I really enjoyed the movie
