There was a lot left unresolved: Boyd back in prison and vowing to come back to kill Raylan, and Ava uncaught and theoretically still on-the-run. Raylan’s new hat is pretty- crappy. Heh. Room for a possible ‘sequel’ 2hr movie, like ‘24’ had?

I missed the part of how did Raylan track down Ava at the end?

Raylan found Ava by happenstance. Her picture was in the paper attending a pumpkin festival. Lame!

Yeah that hat was crappy. I couldn’t see the newspaper article at first so I didn’t understand how he found Ava. Then he told he about her photo buying a pumpkin.

I knew it the minute Ava said she had something for him to see it was going to be a child.

Maybe they can do a spinoff with Wynn Duffy like they did with that lawyer in Breaking Bad?

Very! But like he told Rachael Brooks (who sent him the clipping about Ava): "It fits."

I'm not sure what to make of that, but it seems more than an off hand, flippant comment. Boon was very into hats and the personal statement made by wearing one, as well as the wearer being up to making it.

Guess that "Always aim for the head" thing Boon was going by didn't work out so well for him in the end.

Boon shot a hole in Raylan's hat and Raylan shot a hole in him.

The only thing I can't tie together is how Boyd got from throwing dynamite at the cops and dogs chasing him up that hill to then showing up where Markham was in the drying shed.

Sorry to see my favorite show come to an "end", but they left a lot of characters alive and hopefully a lot of stories left to tell.

Thank you and RIP, Elmore Leonard.
