Remember back in 1974 when for one year, cars made you buckle up in order to be able to start them. This nonsense goes right along with this brainless idea, and would last less time if ever implemented.
Yeah, unless manufacturers were mandated by law to install this stuff in every firearm, there would be no demand for it, and therefore no production. I don’t think they will find any support in Congress for passing such a mandate.
I suppose Obama could try another unconstitutional executive order. After all, he knows they won’t impeach him for it, so all he has to worry about is whether the courts will throw it out.
