It must be over my head. The way I read it is mohammed was avenged and so now he considers all he had against ch to be forgiven.

The whole thing appears to be dripping in sarcasm geared towards pissing off the radicals.
The wording doesn't matter, so much as the image of mohammed on the front cover.
