The hysteria of the rape culture, sexual harassment, human sex trafficking are all examples of how the media plays us as fools. Throw a villain like Bill in the mix and we are certain to take the bait.
Of course we are against rape, but that does not justify regret sex leading to the destruction of a man's reputation and livelihood. Women lie - a lot! They lie about sex, consent and rape, they lie about domestic abuse. We are told to believe the woman, even without a shred of evidence. In fact no evidence just makes her braver, and multiple women with no evidence who wait many years to publicize their victim-hood (real or imagined) must be believed without a rebuttal.
The human trafficking statistics have been grossly exaggerated in an attempt to create a crisis and more tyrannical legislation. Many of the so-called sex slaves are young women who have decided that prostitution is an acceptable path to persue their goals, only latter to feel shame and play the victim card. There is no doubt that there still exists human slavery in Muslim and African societies, but that does not infer that bad choices of ambitious women is the same as slavery.
The same words by one boss are welcomed but for another harassment based solely on the subjective attraction of the female.
We are a gullible lot. We want to be virtuous white knights that protect the damsels from evil men, but we often end up protecting evil women and punishing good men. Clinton is still an evil spawn of Satan, but let us respond with a rational desire for integrity.
Maybe all the people mentioned did not partake. But, most probably did.
Kinda like when Rosalyn Carter had her picture taken with Jim Jones, it gave some credibility to Jim Jones in the eyes of some people.
Epstein also gave money to charity, but that doesn't mean the charities have anything to do with his proclivities.
This one feels like a shakedown, not the truth.
Dershowitz makes it more believable to me. This dude is a heavy-hitter off name-recognition alone. Nobody is going to take a shot at this guy in a court of law unless their evidence is bullet-proof (or they’re completely nuts). It’s like saying you can nail a home run off Nolan Ryan circa 1989.
The part that kills me is the number of Secret Service required to look the other way. I’m sure their immunity is written into the law but a person has to sleep at night. I’d bag groceries before I’d be on Billary’s security detail.
