Why are they visiting a mosque.

I don’t need to smell poop to know that it stinks.

School MANDATED visit to a Mosque?

Parents should let their kids stay home that day

“You can contact the Douglas County school board here. Be polite.”

Why do we have to be polite? I don’t understand?

Government schools and the news media are the main threat to our freedom. Why don't people see this?

Get your kids out of government schoools.

What's wrong with democrats/leftists that they want to teach Islam in government schools. democrats/leftists are sick abominations

We will be visiting the Denver Mosque, the Assumption Greek Orthodox Cathedral, and the Rodef-Shalom Synagogue.

For a voluntary, elective course, no problem - as long as all three sites are required to be attended equally, and valid justification exists for visiting these sites by the specific course curriculum.

But as a general school requirement? Where only the mosque is mandatory? Are you kidding me?

Where is the “separation of church and state” that liberals are always clamoring for? Apparently mosques are OK.

Very bizarre. If this is really mandated by common core, then there is no doubt that common core is unconstitutional. How can you force a person to enter a religious edifice that is alien to their own beliefs, cater against their will to the someone else’s rules, customs or dress?

No Problemo...just adopt the rules from Lakewood School District in Ohio....and in the interests of non-discrimination, ban head scarves for the girls....

Lakewood Schools: Ban on 'Hoodies' to Remain

Despite an online petition to end the ban on hooded sweatshirts in the Lakewood City Schools, the district’s dress code policy will likely remain in place.

Kevin Bright, the district’s assistant superintendent, said that the board of education commissioned a study in 2004 to examine the issue, and OK'd the dress code shortly afterward.

"Some of the students who were misbehaving were attempting to conceal their identities by raising the hoods on their sweatshirts," he said.

"These students ran the gamut of leaving school and skipping class, getting into fights, and stealing the property of others. Additionally, students used the hoodies to conceal things they didn’t want the teachers or administrators to see."

He said the board has no plans to revisit the issue.

"You can contact the Douglas County school board here. Be polite. "

The time for courtesy is past. They will pretend to be shocked and saddened at what happened in Paris. They will deny that they BELIEVE with all their absolute being and life force that those 12 infidels needed killing.

I will deny that all Islam needs destruction down to their DNA, simply to protect the rest of human civilization. Who shows more humanity?

It is a visit to a mosque.

Be truthful. I could not wear a “Highway to Hell” shirt in
my own school in 1979.

Jeb Bush! Do you agree with this? Why or why not? We need answers to Common Core and Amnesty before we even consider voting for you.

Get the minds of the little ones, mold and shape them while they’re young. Schools are just indoctrination processing plants now. I’m SO sick of this mess.

Here’s one for you. A couple of years ago, a local church took members of their youth group to visit a mosque (total Lib female youth pastor, naturally).

Had to follow the “customs” during the visit. But, get this...the date of visit to this mosque?? SEPTEMBER 11TH.

The nitwit seemed surprised when people were offended. I’m guessing that she didn’t choose the date.

My kids wouldn’t be going. Period. These parents are either left wing ninnies so they’re all for it and/or clueless dumbasses. Either way, they’re “pajama boys”. Faggity ass, politically correct Whole Foods/Starbucks regulars. Their cars are laden with “Buy Fresh Buy Local”, “Free Tibet”, Coexist” stickers. Oh…and = signs.

For those of you that have school-age kids: Get your children out of public schools NOW! Private School or Home School your kids. Even if it means you lose some income and have to save and scrimp.
