The primary system is rigged where two liberal Northern states practically pick our candidate(s). NH and IA are not havens of conservatism. Do you think the Repub candidate for POTUS in '12 would have been Romney if the first two primary states are TX and AZ?

The problem with that argument is that South Carolina is usually the third state to hold a primary. This supposedly conservative state backed Bob Dole in 1996, John McCain in 2008 and Newt Gingrich in 2012.
