There are about 1700 NFL players in the rosters. Statistically, one would expect about 1.5% to be gay, meaning about 25 limp-wristed men playing professional football in the country, if pro-athletes are representative (which we all know is unlikely). I’d guess no more than ten gays playing pro, possibly five or fewer, but that’s only a guess.
In any case, we all know how many in the NFL have chosen to come out as perverts - zero. Perhaps an athlete can recover from dog-fighting, or from knocking out his fiance/wife in an elevator (disgusting, and in my mind unforgivable, but apparently others are more open minded), but at least for now gay athletes, if they exist, know that the country has no tolerance for Michael Sam’s level of perversion.
That is not correct. Queers are not equally represented in all fields. If it were true, than only 1.5% of male hairdressers would be queer.
Even if there are a handful of homosexual football players in the NFL, the notion that they all must declare to the media that they’re sexual deviants is absurd. Unfortunately for them and us, the leftist narrative is that all sodomites have to tell everyone about their sexual desires and they must also be proud of them. To the left the notion that someone might be ashamed of their sexual desire or that they might want to keep it to themselves is antiquated. It’s a reality though for a certain group of people though. Not everyone, straight or homosexual, wishes to discuss their sexual interest with the world. Many would prefer to keep it to themselves. That isn’t an option in the narrative driven media.
The point is, it doesn't matter. Whether it is one or one hundred, the only thing that counts is if you can play the game and contribute to your team's success.
If you can make plays and are not a negative influence in the locker room, NFL teams wouldn't care if you wore a dress to the ballpark.
