Considering the timing of the slave trade from 1700s-1850s, approx. the present tense seems a bit out of place for the slave traders.

I fuzzily recall that the importation of slaves into the US stopped by law around 1800. That means anyone involved in the slave trading would be well back in the pedigree, and that their children could have prospered and generation huge numbers of descendants...this loon assumes that all of these descendants are fabulously wealthy based upon their importations of slaves, which is lunacy, but in her loon-world, she would seize the stuff of people who mostly probably don't know their ancestors' names or that they traded in people.

This money-for-nothing theme in the slug subcultures of black America is disgusting.
