What does your post have to do with the pastor?
I’m guessing that he’s saying that neither the values advocated in the Bible nor the Constitution are demands that one be a general victim. Just because a man is a pastor doesn’t mean he can’t or generally shouldn’t defend himself.

The preacher choose NOT to be a doormat...which is the way many in this country treat the Bible and the Constitution.
Some would have people believe that men of Christainty should turn the other check
and allow themselves to become victims and not fight back.
