Everyone who gets hooked has motivation to look for an excuse. Many alcoholics say they were hooked from their very first drink.
I’ve never met one that said they were hooked on alcohol because of their first drink.
I have heard many say that AFTER they were alcoholics, and fell off the wagon, it only took the first drink to get them drinking again.
